We have seen a lot of positive growth in Neeva since she started learning chess. She has become more confident in tournaments and is much more comfortable competing against different players.
We are especially happy with how well she has learned to handle losses. Instead of getting discouraged, she is learning from each game and moving on with a positive attitude.
We really appreciate Coach Aniket’s patience, encouragement, and guidance throughout her journey. He has played an important role in building her confidence and helping her enjoy the game even more.
Coach’s feedback about Neeva:
Neeva is a very calm, sharp, and focused girl. She is always very serious about her work and picks up new concepts incredibly quickly.
I have rarely had to repeat any topic with her. She has an excellent memory and remembers things almost word for word after learning them once. Her ability to retain and understand new concepts is truly impressive.
In tournaments as well, Neeva consistently performs at a high level and is often among the top seeds. I have complete confidence that she will achieve a very strong position in chess in a short period of time.
I also believe that her focus, discipline, and learning ability will help her excel not only in chess but in her studies and other areas of life as well.

My son Rishik has been taking online chess classes with Young Buds Chess for the past six months, and the transformation in his thinking has been incredible.
Before joining, he understood the basic moves but lacked strategy and often lost interest quickly. The Young Buds Chess coach Lalit help him to break down complex tactical concepts—like pins, forks, and endgame strategies—into fun, digestible lessons that keep him genuinely engaged. Their patient, interactive teaching style makes even challenging puzzles feel like exciting games.
Beyond the chessboard, we’ve noticed a real improvement in his patience, focus, and decision-making at school. He used to rush through his homework, but learning to pause and analyze his options on the board has helped him develop a much more thoughtful mindset.
The regular practice tournaments and detailed progress feedback give him a strong sense of achievement. He looks forward to every session, and as parents, we couldn’t be happier with his growth and newfound confidence. Highly recommended for any young learner!
