Rithwin

Parents’ feedback about Rithwin:

Thanks to Young Buds Chess Academy for honoring Rithwin as Star of the Month! This recognition means a great deal to him and to our family, and we are truly grateful for the encouragement and support he receives from the academy.

A little about Rithwin’s journey—his interest in strategy and problem‑solving began at a very young age. He has always been curious, thoughtful, and eager to learn new things. When he was introduced to chess, he immediately connected with the game. The patterns, the planning, the excitement of each move—everything fascinated him. What started as a fun activity quickly grew into a genuine passion.

At 8 years old, Rithwin now plays with remarkable focus and enthusiasm. He enjoys analyzing positions, thinking ahead, and challenging himself to improve with every game. His coach, Mr. Aniket, has played a huge role in shaping his growth. Under Aniket’s guidance, Rithwin has become more confident, disciplined, and creative in his approach to the game. We deeply appreciate the patience, clarity, and motivation Aniket brings to every session.

Outside of chess, Rithwin is an energetic and active kid. He loves playing soccer and tennis, and he brings the same determination and joy to sports as he does to chess. Whether he’s running on the field or planning a checkmate, he gives his best with a big smile.

We are thankful to Young Buds Chess Academy for nurturing his talent, encouraging his curiosity, and helping him grow not just as a chess player but as a young thinker. We are excited to see how far he will go with the continued support of his wonderful coach and the academy.

Coach’s feedback about Rithwin:

Rithwin is a very good child.

He is always calm and composed, understands everything well, and then takes action accordingly.

Personally, I didn’t even realize when his session ended because he learns things very quickly and never forgets them.

Recently, he has given an excellent performance in over-the-board tournaments.

I am very proud of him. I truly believe he has a very bright future ahead. 😇… Aniket

Avyaan

Parents’ feedback about Avyaan:

I’d like to sincerely thank Youngbuds Chess Academy for recognizing Avyaan as the Star of the Month.

A little about Avyaan—he had no prior background in chess and used to play casually with his dad, just for fun, without much understanding of the game. We enrolled him in chess classes simply hoping to spark his interest. That decision turned out to be truly rewarding. Once he began attending classes, his interest in chess grew significantly.

Since then, I’ve seen tremendous progress in Avyaan. He has gone from knowing very little to understanding advanced concepts and playing with great confidence. I would especially like to thank Saurav, who has been an incredible motivator throughout this journey. His guidance, encouragement, and positive approach have played a huge role in Avyaan’s improvement.Hoping for him to win tournaments under Saurav’s mentorship

I truly appreciate the effort Saurav puts into mentoring each child and helping them grow. Today, chess has become an important part of Avyaan’s life, and I credit Youngbuds Chess Academy for introducing him to the game and nurturing this passion so beautifully.

Coach’s feedback about Avyaan:

AVYAN IS really bright kid and even the youngest kid in the class. Every good player has some natural ability in chess but what has help AVYAN more is his discipline to consistently work more and he is very curious to always learn more. Even in off days AVYAN works hard and I am very happy with the progress he has made. For a young kid like him it is very impressive and I know AVYAN is going to be a champion because he has all attributes of it.i am very happy with his journey . It’s a delight to have him in the class.

Parents’ feedback about Shresth:

Shresth truly enjoys playing chess because it gives his mind a great workout. Each game encourages him to think carefully, plan ahead, and explore different possibilities before making a move. He likes how chess challenges him to stay focused, think strategically, and learn from every game. Over time, it has helped him build patience, improve his decision-making, and develop stronger analytical skills.

We are sincerely grateful to his coach, Amarjeet Ji, for her constant encouragement, thoughtful guidance, and dedicated mentorship. Her support has played an important role in helping Shresth build confidence, refine his techniques, and continue growing in his chess journey.

Coach’s feedback about Shresth:

Shresth is a highly punctual, disciplined, and well-mannered student. He consistently maintains a respectful attitude in class and follows instructions with great attention. One of his strongest qualities is his ability to effectively implement whatever he learns into his gameplay, which reflects both understanding and dedication.

He behaves very well during sessions and shows a genuine interest in learning and improving his skills. Sresht’s positive attitude, focus, and commitment make him a pleasure to teach. He is a promising young learner with great potential in chess.
