A special thanks to his coach, Mr. Manthan, for his remarkable patience, constant encouragement, and genuine passion for teaching children. He creates a very comfortable and positive learning environment, and Karthikeya always looks forward to his classes because of the way he teaches.
We introduced chess to Karthikeya for the very first time through YBCA, and watching how much interest he has developed—and how confidently he plays today—makes us feel that enrolling him here was one of the best decisions we made. Seeing him apply the strategies he learns in class while playing at home amazes us every time.

“Karthi is such a delightful kid to have in the class. His game is really leveling up. He is calculating faster than before and playing with a lot more confidence. It is so rewarding to see him grow and being able to translate learnings into his game.
Beyond the moves, he is just a joy to have in class. He never misses a session, and he walks in with an energy that lifts the whole class. I love that he takes his training seriously but still knows how to laugh and have fun during the lighter moments.

Gourav Rajulapudi lives in Aurora, IL with his parents, sister, and their lovable (and extremely spoiled) pug. He attends Granger Middle School, enjoys basketball, and has developed a strong passion for chess. “It’s been near a long time that Vivan is with the academy. Right from his early days he has been very active and charming personality of his batch. He is very attentive in the classes.
His progress has been phenomenal in past one year. He has been very patient and consistent with the classes. We enrolled our son Devansh in chess a few months ago, at a time when he had no prior exposure to the game. His ability to remain composed and encouraging, even when Devansh struggles to grasp a concept or poses repeated questions, has been instrumental in nurturing our child’s interest and skills. Teaching Devansh has been an absolute delight. He sits on his couch in his giant warm blanket outfit with a little dragon on it, right beside his mom with a big smile—too cute! His adorable way of asking doubts and repeating questions always makes our sessions fun.
From being newly introduced to chess to now solving tactics and puzzles, he’s come such a long way. His patience, focus, and thinking ability have grown beautifully. And his mom is always there beside him, guiding him along with my inputs—an amazing team effort.

Shresht is a quick learner. He remains very active during the classes. His focus is really sharp that while doing the classes he rarely look at anything else. Also whatever concepts he learn, he never forget about that. He likes to do puzzles as well as game and analysis and never say no for anything which I instruct. I’m glad to have Avyan as my student. He not only does great as a player but also shows leadership skills in the classes. He remains focused for all time. Participated very actively in all the puzzles, games and analysis. His favourite part of the class is playing simul with multiple kids at a time. He likes to win but at the same time he learns a lot after losing the games. I wish he keep this same enthusiasm and devotion towards the game for future as well and keep improving.
