Star of the month – March 2024

Here we are presenting the stars of the month (March, 2024) at Youngbuds Chess Academy!

Arjun Iyer:

Parents’ feedback about Arjun:

Arjun is a fun loving and playful 6 year old. He loves playing Super Mario video games, eating pastries, pizza and celebrating every day like it’s a party. Last summer his cousin casually introduced him to chess, and Arjun has been hooked to chess since then. We had never imagined someone like Arjun who loves to bounce around the house and play pranks, would enjoy and thrive in a game like chess. YBCA and his coach’s classes are fun and nuturing, Arjun looks forward to them, and is only getting better by the day. Besides developing his skill in the game, he’s also learning to be a good sport and accept loss gracefully. I am grateful that YBCA provides a safe space that will help him grow into a stronger and kinder person.

Coach’s feedback about Arjun:

Arjun is a very smart child and also very much passionate about chess. He doesn’t like it if he miss some session. He enjoys the company of his batchmates.
