Saanvi Reddy Sadhu:

At just eight years old, Saanvi from Chicago has already carved out a name for herself as a remarkable individual. Not only is she a professional swimmer with championship medals at her age level, but she’s also an academic star student in her school.
Beyond her achievements in the water, Saanvi is a loving older sister who enjoys playing with her 3-year-old sibling, creating joy and laughter within the family.
Recently, her curiosity led her to the fascinating world of chess, and after exploring various options, Saanvi found her perfect fit at Young Buds Chess Academy.
Under the guidance of her Coach at YBCA, Saanvi has not only discovered a passion for chess but has also shown genuine enthusiasm for learning and improving her skills.
With a supportive family, a zest for learning, and the way her coach guiding her in chess, Saanvi is undoubtedly a shining star with a bright future ahead.

Saanvi is a passionate and fun loving child. She likes to enjoy the chess games in the classes which makes her grasping the things easily and leads to her active participation in the sessions. She doesn’t care much about win/lose but plays the game with full passion and enjoy it. She remains motivated and play with good enthusiasm. Hope she will keep this enthusiasm and energy forever and do something great.

Jason George:

Parents’ feedback about Jason:

It’s wonderful to know that Jason was selected to be the Star of the Month of December. Jason lives with his sister and two younger twin brothers in Sanford, Florida and is a 3rd grader in a local Elementary school. As a baby, he was always very aware of his surroundings and this continued as he grew up. He has shown good communication and leadership skills in school and has been called empathetic and helpful by his teachers. We’ve noticed an ability to focus on new skills. We’re glad we introduced him to chess which has allowed him to focus and develop his attention span. We’re grateful for his coach, who patiently teaches his class of young players in the early hours of the day in India. And a big shout out to Young Buds Chess Academy for making all this happen.

Jason is very consistent in his practice and hence he is showing constant improvement in the game. He is a talented and hardworking guy, which ensures his consistent growth. I can see in him the love and passion towards the practice required to be a good player. Hope he continues the same passion and love for the game and keep doing nice.

Bhavesh Batra:

Bhavesh, a sixth grader residing in Long Island, NY, has cultivated a deep love for various pursuits since his early years. His curiosity led him to explore the basic concepts of science through simple yet meaningful experiments at home from kindergarten onward. This early engagement with science laid the foundation for his enthusiasm in the subject.

Additionally, he finds joy in the dynamic world of sports and entertainment, particularly relishing the thrill of playing basketball and video games. Bhavesh’s curiosity extends to the fascinating world of robotics, where he actively participates as a member of his school’s robotics team. Embracing the intersection of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), he engages in collaborative efforts with his teammates to explore the realms of innovation and creativity.

Late last year, Bhavesh delved into the strategic realm of chess, eager to unravel the tips and tricks that make a skilled player. His dedication to mastering the game led him to join the Young Buds Chess Academy, where he found an inspiring mentor in his coach. The coach’s playful approach to teaching has made each session enjoyable and engaging, fostering Bhavesh’s growing love for chess.

Bhavesh is a sharp minded guy and catches all the concepts quickly and with clarity as well. More importantly he is hardworking and follows most of the steps I instruct. He is really interested in the game, and likes to know more and more, like when I tell something he tries to explore deeply about it. It clearly shows his love and passion towards the game. I believe if he maintains the same consistency and dedication towards the sport, his game can improve upto a higher extent.

Kavya Jhaveri:

Meet Kavya, a vibrant 9-year-old residing in the heart of New York. With a zest for life, Kavya is a multi-talented young enthusiast. Her days are a symphony of passions—dance, chess, piano, books, and photography. In the dance, she gracefully expresses herself through various genres. A strategic mind unfolds on the chessboard, where she competes with a zeal beyond her years. The piano keys resonate with her melodies, while her room echoes tales from the books lining its shelves. Armed with a small camera, Kavya captures the world’s beauty through her lens.

Passion for chess is a flame that flickers brightly in both the online class and traditional school setting for avid learners like Kavya. In the virtual realm, where screens connect minds, Kavya engages in strategic battles, moving chess pieces with precision and foresight. The online chess community becomes a global chessboard, connecting her with opponents worldwide and fostering a love for the game that transcends physical boundaries.

She is really interested in the game, and likes to know more and more about it by showing active participation during the sessions. It clearly shows her love and passion towards the game. Viraaj Israni :

Parents’ feedback about Viraaj:

Viraaj is six years old and very outgoing, curious, and social. He has a sponge memory that captures all minute details, whether for academics or any game he plays. His hobbies are creating out-of-the-box shapes in Legos, playing ukulele, and painting.

His social and curious nature helps him stand out and make friends on the go.

His recent interest in chess and guidance through YBCA has got him another feather in the cap. We hope he keeps growing his skills and brings this to the next level to play competitive tournaments.

Coach’s feedback about Viraaj:

Viraaj is very passionate and shows good interest towards the game. As per his age, he is showing above average performance in grasping the concepts. Almost every time in the classes, he shows an active participation and remains joyful during the sessions. Hope he continues the same passion and love for the game and keep doing nice.

Tiwa Abiodun:

Tiwa is a brilliant girl that is vibrant. She is all “rainbow and sunshine”. Her favorite color is Rosy pink. She enjoys playing with her younger brother “Timi”. She enjoys reading, watching reality shows especially cooking shows. Her favorite food is “pizza” and her best friend’s name is “Emma”.

Tiwa is very consistent in her game performance. She catches the concepts very quickly. She is really interested in the game, and likes to know more and more about it. She doesn’t bother much about win/lose in the games. It clearly shows her love and passion towards the game. I believe if she maintains the same consistency and dedication towards the sport, she can improve a lot more.

Vedhansh Bokkisam:

Vedhansh bokkisam  is a 1st grader, 6yrs  old living  in Dallas Tx,

He  enjoys   playing chess and fixing anything. He loves playing with transformers a lot.

A very quick learner, He has a heart full of curiosity and passion  for exploring electronic  items   or anything that needs  to be fixed or built.

His enthusiasm is contagious. 

Even in school he excels in studies and has been teachers’ favourite student.

He  has a great  sense of humor and caring nature. He loves spending time with family and friends and his positive energy is  truly uplifting.

Coach’s feedback about Vedhansh:

Vedhansh is a joyful kiddo and is showing consistent improvement in the game. He is passionate towards the sport. One thing I can see about him, if he is likes and passionate about something, he tries to give his best there, his this quality is helping him in shaping up his game skills. Hope he continues the same passion and love for the game and do wonders in every field he choose.
