Stars of the month – May 2023

Here we are presenting the stars of the month (May, 2023) at Youngbuds Chess Academy!

1. Kaushal Tanwar:

Meet Kaushal, a vibrant and energetic 9-year-old boy. When it comes to outdoor activities and sports, Kaushal’s enthusiasm knows no bounds. However, Kaushal has developed an insatiable passion for the strategic world of chess and has been learning chess since a few months back and has started enjoying it. Thanks to the coach for making chess a fun learning game and gently challenging kids.

Coach Feedback on Kaushal:

Kaushal is an energetic, fun loving and a joyful guy. He is very much engaged during the sessions and likes to do puzzles as well as games. He doesn’t bother much about win or lose but tries to enjoy the sessions. His this consistency has helped him to do good amount of progress till now. Hope he maintains same passion and consistency towards the game and keep improving.

2. Saishritan Paramakusum:

Shri is vigorous 9 year old who is an introvert that always experiments with new things. He is mostly interested in building legos, puzzles and he plays violin. He loves the outdoors and nature moreover he loves playing chess with his acquaintances. He joined YBCA, started to get along easily with class and learned different unique strategies. He enjoys playing chess with dad and his friends. Thanks for the teacher for always being patient, encouraging, he makes the class cheerful and fun.

Coach Feedback on Shri :

Shri is a quick learner. Whatever he gets taught, he grasps the concept in one go. He is a good listener and asks the doubts only after I complete. His focus is sharp and remains very engaged and active during the game and topic teaching. He likes to play different variants of chess. Wishing him good luck for the future as well.

3. Srirama Reyansh Barenkabavi:

Reyansh is 6 years old and a very loving, caring, helping, and friendly person. He is very passionate about soccer, basketball, and loves to try new things. With his caring and helping nature, he is rewarded star of the day at school.

He has lots of love for pets and wanted a pet dog, chick, and a fish. He does roller skating and swimming. Off late, we have introduced him to chess, and he is still learning and liking the game, Kudos to the coach for creating interest in chess.

Coach Feedback on Reyansh :

Reyansh is consistent and passionate about chess. He listens to all the things actively during the sessions. He likes to play games more than the puzzles. He tries to send the answer of every single question which shows he doesn’t give up easily. Hope he maintains same consistency and keep progressing.

4. Anjini Kundana Valluri:

Kundana is 12 years old living in California. Her hobbies are lettering, Cursive writing and Calligraphy. She likes to play badminton. Her favorite subject is science. She feels chess as a fun activity which helps in decision making. Coach is really fun teacher who makes playing chess enjoyable.

I would like to thank to coach for dedicating his time and effort and helping Kundana to move forward.

Coach Feedback on Kundana:

Kundana is a talented as well as a hardworking girl. She tries to participate during the whole session and remains active. She focus much on the accuracy of the answers. She is very punctual in the sessions and a very obedient student as well. Hope she keeps her passion alive if future as well and keep improving her game.

5. Ajay Jaladi:

Ajay is a 9 years old boy likes chess and board games. He enjoys playing soccer and video games.

His hobbies are reading graphical comics, nonfictional books along with building legos and collecting Pokemon cards. Thank you coach for making classes more fun and engaging. We saw so much improvement in Ajay’s chess skills and hope he will continue to learn more.

Coach feedback on Ajay: Ajay is a multi talented guy as he is talented and hardworking as a chess player also but his sense of humour and way of interaction is also nice. He remains very much energetic during the sessions and he is calm during the games and doesn’t get hopeless by loosing also. If he keeps the same consistency in long term he can improve a lot in his game. Wishing him all the best for future!
