Stars of the month – April 2022

Here we are presenting the stars of the month (April 2022) at Youngbuds Chess Academy!

1. Avyaan Aribandi:

Avyaan is 6 yrs old and gearing up for 7 in 2 months. He is a super active kid who like to try out new things all the time. He learnt to solve 3×3 rubiks cube under 2 mins when he was just 4.5 yrs. Now he plays with different types of rubiks cubes. He loves to play basketball, soccer and Tennis. When indoors, without TV/books/homework, his brain can get creatively naughty and trust me result may not be pleasant always 😉 He loves to do painting and encourages us for family paint nights. Chess has been his greatest interest lately and pushes his father to play with him. Determined to win over his father putting his new tricks to practice 🙂 He enjoys and waits for his chess classes. Thanks to Youngbuds Chess Academy for teaching and developing continueous interest in chess.

Coach Feedback on Avyaan :

Avyaan is very passionate and consistent towards the game. Because of this he has shown consistent improvement in the game since joining. There is no time since his joining till now that he got down or inactive during the classes. Hope he continues the same passion and love for the game and keep doing nice in chess.

2. Samyuktha kommineni:

My daughter Samyuktha is 11 years old and is in 5th grade. She loves art and likes to try out new things. Though she doesn’t like homework, she is a keen learner. She also is a Harry Potter & Percy Jackson series fan. She likes to write mystery and adventure stories. She likes to play the board game Catan.

Samyuktha started playing chess at the age of 7. Only recently though, has she become good at it, thanks to Youngbuds Chess Academy. She loves to play chess with her father at home. Mate-in-one is one of her favorite moves. Thanks to Youngbuds Chess Academy for making chess lessons fun and interactive.

Coach Feedback on Samyukta:

Samyukta is very consistent in her game performance. She catches the concepts very fast. She is really interested in the game, and likes to know more and more about it by doing more and more research. It clearly shows her love and passion towards the game. I believe if she maintains the same consistency and dedication towards the sport, she can be a great Chess player.
