Star of the month – July 2021

Here we are presenting the stars of the month (July 2021) at Youngbuds Chess Academy!

Advik:

“Advik is a 9 years old boy, full of life with a fantastic sense of humor. Advik loves music, and his favorite song is “Witness by Jordan Feliz”. He loves to read books to learn about the world’s history and play with his friends on Xbox , cycling, scootering, and cricket, and recently he joined the U11 Cricket team in the Bay area and started playing league games. He joined YBCA and enjoying the chess classes, Practice sessions and weekly tournaments. He tries to play every Practice session and weekly Tournament and always reamin very excited for the classes. He enjoys the company of Abhishek Sir along with his batchmates a lot. Abhishek Sir is having excellence in understanding the psychology of the kids and conducts the sessions in a wonderful way. Advik continues to enhance his skills and learns strategies from tutorials and practice sessions. Appreciate Abhiskek Sir for his guidance and continuing to boost Advik’s passion and dedication towards chess.”

Coach feedback on Advik:

Advik is a passionate and talented chess player. He had shown a nice improvement in the game since the time of joining. His games are very consistent. He catches the concepts fast. If he continues to show the same love and dedication towards the game, he can do great in the chess world”.

Ridhin:

Ridhin likes cubing and chess. He enjoys biking and his favourite pastime is playing on playstation.

He also watches TV shows and likes playing cricket, ping pong and basketball.

Ridhin believes Mr Abhishek is smart and a good chess coach. He mentions that chess class is well organised. He keeps trying to win the game and his favourite checkmate move is fools mate. Thank you Mr Abhishek for making the chess class so interesting and letting him explore the game!

Ridhin is a talented and hardworking chess player. He catches all the concepts very fast. He tries to

Practice as much as possible. It clearly shows his love and passion towards the game. I hope he will maintain the consistency in his practice and passion and will be a great chess player.

Divith:

“Divith is a 10 year old bright boy, having great focus and presence of mind. He loves playing board games. Recently he started learning playing Tennis. He joined YBCA and absolutely loves chess since then. Divith attends 2-3 practice sessions per week and really looks forward to the tutorial by Abhishek Sir. Abhishek Sir knows how to keep the kids engaged and well motivated during the sessions. Divith continues to enhance his skills and learn strategies from tutorials and ongoing practise sessions. From his 2nd week of joining onwards I saw the difference in his game. Thanks once again to Abhishek Sir for his excellent coaching and motivation to Divith.”

Coach feedback on Divith:

Divith is very consistent in his practice and hence he is showing consistent improvement in the game. He is very talented and hardworking guy, which ensures his consistent growth. I can see in him the love and passion towards the practice required to be a great chess player. Hope he continues the same passion and love for the game and do wonders in chess.

Bhavesh:

“ Bhavesh is a 10 year old boy full of energy and enthusiasm. He loves building stuff with legos, cycling, playing with his little sister, helping in organizing, playing Nintendo with friends and his new found interest ‘Chess’! Ever since he joined this online chess class with Mr. Abhishek, that’s his go to thing everyday, doesn’t miss any practice session and is always looking forward to learn new skills for the zoom class. Thank you Mr. Abhishek once again for your patience and unique way of engaging and encouraging these young minds. Looking forward to seeing Bhavesh get to higher levels and continue his passion for chess!”

Coach feedback on Bhavesh:

Bhavesh is extremely enthusiastic in chess and always interested to learn new things in chess. Never been once he’s been lazy in class. Extremely consistent in playing chess and hardly miss any Practice session. He learns from his mistakes and enjoys the game. Happy to have this kiddo as my student.
